Tomorrow is my first day of school for Fall semester, 2010. I don't know should I feeling ok because finally got thing to do or not really. During Summer, I'm having rough times regard personal issues which really put me down so bad. Once I done my final summer class, I was heading to NEw York and DC for travel, at the same time to let myself relief those pain that I was having. I doesn't want to said much here because I hate to mentioning again what was going on. Anyway, new semester mean new things to do. I wish day after day, I could moving on and let him go.

It was been awhile I never update my blog (obviously) because I was busy with my homework. Once I have free time, i will put my time on other entertainment. Yes, if we looking back the previous blog, it was before summer. Now having summer class, another two more days, this session of summer classes will be done. But this doesn't mean i could sleep and do nothing. Monday the second session of summer class start. It was 7.30am class, yes it is suck.

In St.Cloud, not much fruits you could find in market. From January to December, apples, oranges, grape, strawberry were always put on the shelf; it was so difficult to get tropical fruits, they did have some such as bananas, mangoes, melon.
Sometimes, if lucky might able to buy cheap strawberry , maybe around $2.50 per box. If not, normally would cost $2.50 per pound. This box of strawberry were the largest strawberry i ever eat. It was not as sour as lemon (like Malaysia's strawberry). Usually i was sharing fruits with Popeye (smile).
During Summer,there is a strawberry garden in St.Cloud open, and anyone could go there to pick strawberries. The strawberries will be cost according how much you will pick. I never been there, but they said it was cheap, so i hope this summer have opportunity to go and try it.

when i read back my previous blog, it was like three months ago. Yes, at that time my homework doesn't as busy as right now. After February, things get so rough. I don't even have time want to go out for socialize. I used to take a break during Thurday evening, that mean no homework day for me. But i will start doing my homework on weekend. Ok, what should i talk about now.hmmm, girl scout cookies then.
Every semester, the girl scout will start selling cookies everywhere, you could find it at our campus. They rent a small spot and then start selling it. My favor cookies was the thin mint favor. This cookies drove me crazy, because i could finished it within a day. Well, actually they said the cookies is cut down the amount, which is smaller than they used to. Oh ya, it is expensive too, $3.50 per box! so the girl scout is rich, actually. I heard about girl scout cookies from television, the girls knocked door by door to sell it. Since i came to United States, i see the real girl scout selling cookies. Those profit will be put in their girl scout foundation, like for their events. From the box, it said: selling the cookies is to train the girl scout know to manage money, leadership, and blah blah blah. Most of the time, their mother is accompanied the girls to sell cookies. I remember when i was young, our elementary school used to give away the donation card, so we could go to collect donations, but i really hate to do that because we never find out where are the actual donations gone, are they really for infrastructure the school buildings? no idea about that.
If you want to talk about volunteering. United States is where we can learn from. They highly involve of volunteer to help the community, and the number of volunteer participating is very high. In here, they rather donate can foods, books and some new stationary for the people in need and which i agree they do that. Because if people donate money, the chances of money get lost or fell to someone else is high. So was my cultural sharing scholarship requirement. In order to fulfilling the cultural hour, there is a list of activities could count as part of our scholarship activities. Most of them are involve volunteer, for example: help out prepare meals for the cultural night, help clean out the stadium and so on.
Anyway, the cookies was so good, unfortunately it was only could find from the girl scout.

In American here, pets could consider have rights like a human. Not only can find many animal hospitals, they have insurance for pets, of cause no forget the products for pet. I'm don't own any dog but a small pet, so per month my expenses actually is not much, probably average cost about $10 for foods and litter box. Popeye have long fur, and rabbit use to shedding three times per year/ per season (depend). So i bought her this cat comb, which she really like it alot! you can tell if you look at this picture. I bought for her the comb for two days, and she already showed me she really loving it but left her chewing mark. During rabbit shedding period, i have to helping her combing her hair because rabbit do not has digestive system same as cat, which a cat can vomit out the hair when they cleaning them self. If do not help the rabbit clean up her shedding fur, it could cause her 'hairball", a digestive system problems. If thing turn out to be serious, can causes death.
However, in American actually has a lot of abandon pets. Many people want to own a pet when they find it is cute but they never think about how much time they need to put, and how much responsibility they need to carry. One thing i like about America is, they have non-profit organization to help those animals. Let say if you left your dog inside the car during a hot weather or cold weather, some people see it and report to the police, you can find guilty for that. But in my home place, the dead dogs and cats can be found on the road. Things that bothering me a lot is, people breeding as many pets as they could, then they sell it or put it into a pot. I really against that. Or some people even beat and kill the pets without any reason.

Having a pet is fun and feel not lonely, however it sometimes can makes you mad especially they act naughty, just like my beloved bunny Popeye. She left lot of her appreciate gifts to me, such as chewing the carpet, notes, wall. Now, one of my belt is already separate into half. I try so many method to saving it because this belt really match my current body figure (ooops...). Sometimes, i even have to figure out how to paint the wall back so it will not seem by the landlord, how to fix the chewed carpet and re-color it.

i would not continue the lease for our current apartment next year. Even though, we still left 5month of lease, but feel uncomfortable when the landlord put a notice at front of our door step, informed us that he will bring people to showing our apartment. When i got the time and day he will coming, hurried to find a place in order to hiding my bunny. My friend who has a same landlord, told me that this landlord never allow pet. I try to make Popeye's new cage look like a drawer :p. She was sent to Edo's house for a night. Then, i planning to hide her in my closet if next time people want to see our apartment again.

Christmas is coming soon. Baking ingredient are selling cheap around and conveniece. I bought a pack to make chocolate cookies. Step was simple, all you need was an egg and a stick of butter then mix with the cookies powder. Put inside the oven, 8-10minute at the temperature of 375. I never know that cookies will getting big, so the shape was totally so ugly :P. I even need a knife to cut into small pieces, but the taste was so good :)

Art class was cancel, and we will only meet during final exam. Basically, most of our usual class time will be uses as a work days. I didn't go anywhere, especially snowing. Forecast stated that it was light snow. But look at the amount of snow outside from my window, it was already about 3 inch high...remember, just consider as light snow. my new toy

This was my first digital slr camera..i'm like it so much. Some people said Canon would be cheaper on lens but body was expensive; Nikon cheap on body but expensive on lens. I like Nikon since i get used to it with my compact digital camera. DSLR for Nikon d3000, was consider reasonable price. I bought with speciak package and basic lens kit, cost me less than $600. Yes, after i bought this camera then Popeye start felt sick..my financial suddenly run out. At the same time, the photos that i took didn't publish...things happens so bad on me for two- three week. What even things i did, it just didn't goes so well.
I'm start learning myself to understand the basic knowledge about SLR function, like shutter speed, aperture and ISO. To get a new lens kit? i guess that will take a while to achieve it. Owning a DSLR camera, investment on lens always the thing you still need to do. So, still got a lot of thing need to learn about the skill:D

i hate this bugs

During fall, really annoying me because of this bugs. At first, i just never realized it can can out that much. I tried to find out why this bugs can coming out, and showed out at my window. Then found out actually, this bugs coming through from the side of my window. Luckily i already isolating my window, if not i really can't explain how much time i need to kill these bugs. It not only makes the window has dirt, sometime when i was sleeping, it even climb onto my neck!
I checked the Internet to find out what kind of bug it is, they called as boxelder bugs. They leave the tree during the late of summer and autumn, they usually stick with group; it can find from maple leave tree. When i found out outside the window, it made me goosebumps.
I even read the solutions how to kill it, it said using detergent mixed with water and spray on it. I even went to bought some stuff to fix the window side, so they unable to coming in. After success killing them, i have to re-open the isolation plastic, clear it out and stick it back again.
What a day....

It was almost 2/3 weeks that i felt so numb and stressful. I got my on-campus job as a photographer for our University's newspaper. This job not only has a low payment but also unstable income. Each photo only cost $5 (per event i cover). BUT!..before they paying me, i have to contributing three photos (three events' photos) to this newspaper, after three of them successful publish to newspaper then i able to get pay for my next photo shoot. It is very tough, because some photos might not satisfy their requirement, or the event that i cover has no editor to write about it so it will unable to publishing it. I'm happy and proud to see my photos shoot published on the newspaper. However, it already 3 weeks, i was still haven't pass the 'contributing stage' yet..kind of frustrating.
recently, Popeye fell sick suddenly. I was so worrying her, during the days she was very ill; i can't sleep well at the nighttime because i want to make sure she drinking (rabbit must drink and eat), i also felt pity for her because she unable to groom herself, she really look alike sick people, the hair is messy with sleepy eyes, no appetite. Oh yes, spayed surgery already cost me hundred more. Who knows, her vestibular infections came sudden within 2 weeks. I found out early, even brought her to emergency in the 24 hour vet clinic. (thank to Sarah). The medicine price cost me almost same as her surgery (dammit..). I'm never mad i pay so much to her, but i will not happy if the medicine not cure her. However so far, she was doing fine, but her neck has little bit of wrying to the right, sudden she fell if she ran fast. I even helps her massage her neck every day.
Another thing was, i excluded my December rent at the beginning of my semester. Now i found out i ran out of money, however i still have a back up from my saving (which i used for travel and buying needed thing, emergency purpose). But after i bought my new camera, then those things came to me, medicine bill , rents...headache. I would said i did having bad weeks(instead of days).
Anyway, pray for my Popeye is getting better, she can naughty as she use to; i able to get my pay from my photographing, and bad luck will gone like a dark cloud.

Since school start, i really no into chatting and update my blog because the moment i touch these things, i will hardly to concentrate do my other stuff. Sunday morning 2am was United State day time saving. It will be 14hour behind Malaysia time. This year, the cold comes very fast compare to last year. October (which also known as Fall), had the first snow on second week of October. Some student who came here this fall semester was excited seeing snow, but for us who seeing snow and know how does the snow taste like feel annoying about it, we rather said 'What!, snow again' instead of "waooo..is snow! ". Well, i will experience the snow for about 6month. Honesty, i prefer snow more than rain because raining really uncomfortable. Will see...

Well, the week before school start i have went to Renaissance Fair at Shokopee, Minneapolis. Total 6 people went together. Me, Yohana, Yi Lin and Edo drove all the way from St.Cloud to Minneapolis, meet out Bety and Jimmy. All of us are come from 'Sia' country, only me and Yi Lin represent Malaysia and the other are Indonesia. It was my first time to meet Jimmy and Bety, they already living in Minneapolis. They have a dog name Casper and she was cute. Renaissance fair is a fair that which they make it like Renaissance century, people wearing those century costume, selling foods, toys and some souvenirs. After the fair done, i realized that i was so exhausted and the second day will be my first day of classes.

Time seriously passing so fast. Can't believe it, it is almost a year i was away from Malaysia. At the same time, it is also a year that i didn't meet my family and best friends. Every year, my birthday is nothing special, but receive the birthday wishes from friends and families really feel the warm, the warm just like the birthday cake 's candles. Let me see, i think since i was start studying college, i hardly can get an opportunity to celebrate with family and best friends, i know it is suck, but i can't change it because our college usually met final examination at that time. Secondly, i'm a person who doesn't like attention, because i will feel uncomfortable or shy, that why i never held any party. For me i think that birthday is not just to represent how old are you, but it is also a meaningful day for our parents to welcome us to this earth.
So already turning to 26 year old, what do i make for my wish? this is a secret of cause. People said, if you tell people your wishes, it will not coming true. So, i keep it for myself now ..hehe

last week, i feel suddenly want to make sushi, tuna sushi. I already doing research, in how to make the sushi rice. Actually the step is easy, importantly is whether you can find the ingredient or not. I remember when i was still in Malaysia, we can easily get sushi in reasonable price. But here, the tuna sushi might cost about $3.++ per plant. I got all the ingredient in Cub foods.
My Sushi might look horrible from the outside, but you will be surprised the taste is so good, and i feel satisfaction when i ate it.

When get down from the bus, we already so excited that which one we going to ride

This is the most scariest ride for me, and it was our first ride. When the coaster push our back, it doesn't much scary, the scariest part was when the time you face down.

This sign can seeing at every ride, but 90% of the people still take their hands up (including me)

I didn't take this ride, because it will make you extremely wet. One of my china friend, he told us that at the first time, he doesn't feel totally wet. But until ....

He passing by the bridge, somebody on the ride is waving their hand with him, he doesn't know that, on the bridge, the water can make you wet,too. So in the end, my china friend have to spent like $5 for drying himself at the drying machine.

This lucky guy, he spent less than $10 and won two electric guitar..dammit!

My Vietnamese friends also lucky, they won two huge prizes.

By the way, on 15th July actually i and several Malaysia students followed a amusement park trip to Minneapolis. This trip is organized by our own student UPB, the ticket price that we got was cost $15 for student(normal price about $38) and it is just available for 70 students. This is trip is including transport which depart from 11.30pm, and coming back to campus is 7.30pm from Valley fair. At first, we might thought that 1pm-7pm would be not enough time for us. However, we end out done every ride (except pirate ship, Xtreme swing and some little ride) on 6pm.
Oh ya, on the way to Minneapolis actually our bus driver had caused an accident when he passing to the left line and he is no realized that, the car who passing to left line at the same time. The private car drifting about 4 round, then bang to the car who is on way coming. Because unable stop immediately, i think about 4-5 car hit each other. It just happen like 5sec, passengers who sat last 4 row saw(involved me) see the whole accident took place.

I being sad for many month since i came to United States. On May, 2009, under the encouragement of my best friend, i finally take my action to cure my problems, negative thought. Negative thoughts is like addicted to drug, it can make me feels miserable, depress. And it causes by the environment where i raise. The chances of people get depression is started from negative thoughts. Actually when i was in Malaysia, i already have this problems, when i fail to achieve something, i will keep blaming myself, felling guilty. But after arriving here, i never know my problems is getting serious, even my friends is scare of me. Yes, many factors can increasing my depress, such as academic achievement, friendship, loneliness. I did have many time want to hurt myself, because i care too much how people look at me, i comparing myself, doing things according people favor (that mean i don't know to said NO), jumping conclusion which create misunderstandings, always makes me no self-respect, labeling and mislabeling myself etc. These weaknesses really came across very tough time for me, i even no realization how i will react, what had i talk to that person when i was very depress, and even start hurting myself to wake me up.
Now, i not only never miss my counsellings, at the same time i also doing some research on how to self-help in order to cure my problems. It is not an easy things which can change in one days, like i said negative thinking is like we addicted to drugs, it can coming out without your realizations.
Mean while, i also learning to adjust my thinking step by step. People who is leaving me, i never blaming them because it is the true i would make friendship more disaster if i'm not fixing my own problems. I promise to God and myself, i will able to win this battle.

I'm been for awhile didn't own small pets since my Guinea Pig (fat girl) is dead, small pets is not cheap in Malaysia. However, this time i want to own myself a small pet either guinea pig or bunny. Change my mind to buy a pet instead of a acoustic guitar, i got a Lionhead bunny which i name her as Popeye. Yes, the name is cute...:D, the whole things already cost me about $95, so now i will try to eat noodles again to save my money back T-T

Minneapolis have a Malaysia restaurant. After i tried it, actually i found not much different maybe i get use to Malaysia food, so it is average for me.

Anyway, art classes actually is a fun class because everyone is concentrate drawing their works, and we can listen our own music to draw at the same time. However, i not really like using the stand frame to draw because it make me feel dizzy and headache.

Fried Cheese, it is kinda of nice but very greasing, kinda of expensive too, it cost $5.

Every year on 24th June, our campus UPO will organized a fair known as Lemonade Fair. This fair is welcome public come to campus to sell their art stuff or other things, but they have to pay the rent of these campus booth spaces. The sun is burning because at the same time, i was just came back from Munsinger Garden. I was just walking around and see how does this fair look alike. The things that sell in the fair was really expensive, you can't find price below $4. Even a small cup of lemonade could cost you $3. There is some Orchestra performance outside Atwood Memorial building. The show is run from 11am until 9pm, honestly i not really enjoying much on this fair.

This is SCSU's buildings directory map. The first time i came here, it is really confused me, it is huge and far! SCSU has about 17,000 of students populations, and it is consider the second largest University in Minnesota State.

This is my room. I only bought the chair, new full size bed sheet and a mattress pad. The mattress actually are futon mattress, somebody gave it to me, i clean it out and used it as my bed. It is big enough and i like my bed.

From the back door, it is a block away from Sherbuarne Hall, Stealth, and Benton (the dorm where i used to live)

I and my friend are staying at the basement. From the picture, you can see the window near the truck, that is our unit.

Coming out from the front door, it is just a block from Holes Hall (campus dorm). So, this apartment actually located very near to campus

95% of the house furniture are pick up from campus dumpster, and every of them are good conditions, we just spending our time to cleaned it out.

The kitchen basically include basic stuff, like refrigerator.

The small t.v also pickup by Yohana from friend's apartment.

This is my room's closet. It is kinda of huge, but only not convenient when i want to take my clothes, because you almost have get in the closet to take it out.

Sun fish. Each person only can catch 5.

We change second destination, we park the car at the public access lake, then walk to other side. At first, we trying to fishing in public access spot, but too many boat arrived and upload. So, we walked to other spot, which is more quiet.The biggest northern pike ever! my friend caught it, and he have to kill the fish with stabbing it head because it is huge, we don't have special equipment at that time. This fish weight about 7kg, height 82cm. He very happy and called his dad to share the good news. When he "fight "with this fish, actually his two thumb get injured, because the fish have extra teeth at the side corner.
I saw it with my own eyes, how the fish jump and bite the bait. I know it is a big fish, but when it pulled getting nearer, then i realized it is really a huge fish! when i look at its body during my friend pull the fish up, i thought he caught a snake...it is kinda of scary for me.

In United States, fishing is one of the favorite sport. If go in a sport shop, one huge section is selling fishing's equipment, and another section will be hunting. Most of the local resident have own private boat for fishing. By the way, you need a fishing license in order to get permit to fishing, because they said they it is help to protect the fish species. There is a fishing regulations handbook free to take, it is about what size of fishes you only allow to catch, what type of fish is limit to fishing per person and so on.
One of my friend is really fishing fever person. He will drive around St.Cloud, looking public lake to fishing. This is his first summer catch! small northern pike.
St.cloud residents, most of them bought private properties and build their house beside the private lake. Each houses have a boat, of cause.

Since summer is coming, everyone have their planning to go somewhere else to travel, or planning go back their hometown. I getting feel annoying about that, because why i doesn't have such planning, people will suggest and looking for me to travel somewhere else. How long more i only able to staying in States?! i only went to Minneapolis twice in 8 months here. I really hate that, even people party, no wonder how close me and them, they will not invite me to come along. Only when relate to money, then they will come toward me, sometimes i never expect that person will call me so sudden. Now most of the time i just riding my bike around campus. I just need to breath some air, i feel trap and stress.
Open the dam facebook, pump out the message in "HOME", saying where they going, how they are doing in New York. Sometimes, i start missing my friends who are far away from me. Because they are the one who every moment stay with me. In here, things totally different. I stick with the same people, they will feel annoying. I rather put myself busy, busy until i cannot breath, so i will not have time being alone and think what i going to do later.

I was in my room packing my stuff, suddenly i smell something, and black smoke coming out from the Holes hall's dumpster.

Heavy smoke blow into Holes dorm through room windows, caused the fire alarm rang and everybody have to came out from the building by emergency.

It took about 3-5minutes, the fire truck is arrived. The first time i seeing the 'real' firemen, how professional they doing their jobs, and how fast they can arrived to the incident scene (compare to MLY?),from the whole incident, they took about 10minute to stop the burning but students still need to staying outside for while before they allow to enter back the dorm.

Every end of school year or the begin of summer break,s students throwing their furniture and other stuff to the dumpster because they are leaving the place or graduate from the University. However, many students at the same time also start looking at those dumpsters, climbing in and take the stuff they want. I, Yohana and Edo have been drive to each dorm's dumpsters to looking for some 'treasures'. One thing i realized that, actually these people thrown away the stuff which is still in good conditions, really consider as 'waster'. It is because of cheap when the time they bought those things, after used for 2 semester and they just thrown it like that? Actually, there is some people who is not students also drive a truck and looking at each dumpsters to collect the good things. Honestly, these things can re-use it.

My roommate already moved out all her stuff, she already not coming back to sleep in dorm since Thursday. Actually, I'm kinda of happy that i can own this whole room,and how i hope she start moving out from Monday.

Everything clear, I'm was the last one who is leaving this room. My neighbors (another 3 girls) who use to share the same bathroom with us are also already shift out the dorm earlier. It is kinda of feel empty when looking back at the whole empty room, at the same time i still remember i having a Halloween party with my gangs last year at the living room. I already lived in this room for two semester, the time when i came the weather is warm and windy. Blinking my eyes, the weather is coming back, another new year, and another end of semester. I wasn't back to the room but i shift out this old places, i will missing this place!

checking UPS to track where was my laptop, exactly 5 days of time, i got my hp. on 19th April 2009. It was so excited when claimed the parcel from the front desk with a huge box. The laptop is light, and look so stunning. what happen to my old laptop? i still open it sometimes, maybe once per week? I have thinking how to bring it back to my home in Malaysia.

Sorry about late update my blog, now i finally have time to update it. Well, on April 18th out Ethnic class have organized a field trip to visit certain places, Asian American centers for example: Chinese language school, Muslim centers, and Hmong Market in Minneapolis. So, basically we going to learn from this trip about how the Asian American centers being operate to help the immigrants and so on. The Chinese language school is rent classroom college, and the class only operate on weekends. Other than learn Chinese language, they also have martial art and art classes.

Next, we went to the Hmong Market. Hmong community came to United States as refugee during the Vietnam War. Historically, Hmong community origin are from China, which known as Miao community. The Hmong community move to Laos(the most), Vietnam, Cambodia, some part of Southeast Asian countries when they having war with Han. Minnesota was also known as the capital for Hmong community. They have their own traditional costume, and the foods is almost similar to Chinese foods.

This is the Muslim centers. They provide free clinic, a prayer center and nursery. The free clinic unfortunately not allow to give free medicine because in United States it is against the medical policy. Many immigrants from other racial background comes to visit this free clinic, due to they not afford for medical insurance. About 38 volunteer (mainly medical students) are help to operate this free clinic. There is a small library(still renovate), inside they can find the al-Quran that translate into English and other books about Islam.

This is the classroom for kindetgarden. Sometime they also have classes for learn Arabia languages.

low self-esteem

i guess everyone who know me, would agreed that i have the problem of low self-esteem. My low self-esteem really make me angry, hate to myself. I got the symptom looking thing on negative, or will think too much. I hurt a lot my friends just because of my weird behavior. I tend to blame myself stupid, and never want to said it is my friends fault because i know all the time my sensitivity make them hate me. I'm an introversion person, maybe of my self-esteem problems, i never feel comfortable to talking in front people because i scare humiliate. Some friends actually have told me that, i really don't like myself and care people more than myself. Low self-esteem get me easily depress,upset, mad, and despair. When i fail to achieve something, i hardly to let it go or forget it. Sometimes, i asking myself how to overcome this problems? because low self-esteem, friends really will hate you. What your feeling bother in your mind, it is so hard to describe it, when said it they accuse me act crazy. Making somebody angry at me, i will hide from them because i afraid they hate me or i makes them annoy.
what should i do? i even think about want to hurt myself, so i can awake what i'm doing.

Finally, i decide to close my Facebook account for awhile. This thing kind of annoying me, why? because when i open it, i have the desire to keep waiting 'someone' will chat with me, 'someone' will drop me message, i also will check 'someone' profiles in order to find out how is he or she doing recently. Facebook makes me care about people's life instead of mine life. When i chat with 'someone' then i realised that actually i waste peoples' time chatting or i would get the cool respond from 'someone'. It is does upset me.
I uses to open the computer, then the first web that i will checking is facebook.. wtf! During doing homework, i could type a few sentences then use my mouse and check back facebook, to see it is got any new notifications.
Well, i have to cut this stupid addict,so i close it for awhile, i want to stop all my internet socials, rather spend my time to concentrate my homework because i really tired and fed up.

i seriously decided don't want to continue write my blog, but in silent blog. I just freaking too disappoint.People laugh at me, i still can't improve, i'm have been studying how many year English, and one simple 6 words sentence i still write like rubbish English, i getting hate myself so much..very very very much!!!!!!!!!. I really tired everyone keep pointing my English language, 'Hey, your English got a lot of English grammar errors, or your English need to improve..'' I TOLD YOU I KNOW!!!!!!!!!AND I DAMN TRYING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SUCK IN WRITING AND SPEAKING, I KNOW!!!YOU THINK I IN PURPOSE TO ACT THIS STUPIDNESS?!

This foods were for all volunteer (decorations, cookers, performers etc), and it is taste so good. I'm miss Malaysian foods now.

The day of performance always the most nervous. Suprisingly, the tickets is sold finish for this event, however some people said actually the foods that served is was not enough for the people and some chaos happens, such as the food serving. The people that came to watch the show, 90% are families, probably many of the children doing performance. However, things go smoothly, and it is fun as we can met back the friends that we know and talk or joke a lot.

Tomorrow will be the day for performance, so everything have to be ready, especially the rehearsal. We been waiting for 2hours, to take our turn in doing the rehearsal. At the same time, we have to adjust how the lighting we need. So if there is 4-6 groups performers, imagine how much time we need. That is a bunch of kids who came from Kungfu school, they were invited special guest performers. This kids is running around the ballroom, the teacher seen lost control but they were cute in the kung-fu uniform. It is really a tired day for me..but i still got one more day to go for that tiredness.

Class just started this week, home works or quizzes is already near my throat. Weather is getting worst, now average daylight about -23, and feels like -33. Class just started, my mind already keep waiting spring break. Spring term isn't a happy moment for me, because i feel something missing. I getting miss my friends a lot, every time we only able to relying facebook to drop each other message and know how is their life there. Sometimes, pass by the place we use to hanging out together, it is more tough because always imagine they are there. Everything is change, the one they use to hanging out with me became busy and didn't contact each other at all. I don't wish it just end like that. However, new term also new challenge for me. Challenge for my confidence, to apply CA position(pray i can get), no more party for me since they left St.Cloud, put more hard work on my studied now. How i wish fall coming, because fall really gave me a lot of sweet memories. I like winter but doesn't like the mood of loneliness and missing. I wish my friend back to old times, hanging out together at least during meal times.

Every time i heard people saying they went to Alberville for shopping, during thanksgiving they have a huge sales. However, this time i followed my friends went to Alberville. It is so huge, and you can find clothing and wears from A-Z brand. Once i enter CK's shop, jeans only sold for $39.99..dammit, but when i try on it..it look so ugly. Alberville shopping premium is one of the tourism places, usually many minnesota residents drive here to shopped. Car trip from st.cloud migth took 45 minute, depend how fast you can drove.

Sometimes, i thinking that i am very stupid, not stupid but retard because i'm worst than stupid. I doesn't know why, people that younger than me or almost same my age is mature than me. Their thinking, their view on the world every thing they can talk like expert. For me, always stand at the other side listening, why i'm listening because i don't know what they talking about. From religions, to revolutions..i was completely no idea what is that. Sometimes, i think that my knowledgde is so small, fix, not broad. People build the road, i just walking. But for them, they can able to turn to left or right, their knowledge is broad. I feel stress when they around me, because i don;t know how to communicate or share the knowledge with them. I trying to learn, but i'm dumb, i'm can't learn so fast. During last semester, the assignment was 'what is the role of american citizenship', when i looked at this question i already start want to cry because i don't understand. While my friend read it, few second he able to give what he know about this question.
If everything about argument, i always the loser because i doesn't know how to argue.
Since i came to states, i much more depress than i used to. I wondering how i gonna to survive in the society if i done my studying.

During winter break, the whole campus is quiet. Some office only operate in certain times. The dorms is the most quiet place, you can see only one window or two window light turn on from the whole building. X'mas eve, Pascal and Maria invited me and Sinae going to dinner in their place. It is so good for me, because during the break i finally can eat real food Pascal is a really good in cooking..i'm sick about eating bread, noodles and cracker, so this is lucky day for me at least i didn't need stuck in dorm eat cup noodles. Recently, it is very tough day for me to seeing each of my friend left. 8 of us and only me and David staying here to continue studying. The others are all exchange students. Recently, snow storm happens around Minnesota and st.cloud is one of the part get effect from this weather. I never heard about it until dad called me at the morning, when i looked at the window..oh ya, the snow is quiet thick. I hurrying text andy too, asking him 2pm for snow fight. Too bad, i can't contact the koreans, so the whole snow fight just 4 person playing crazy. When andy put the snow to my back, the pain is like somebody slap on me. My hands is dam freezing..because the snow not really sticky, it is kind of hard to make a snowball, but except those who experience in snowball able to make it. This game took about 30 minute...but it is fun, and it 'll be our last snwo fight with the germans.

Verena told me that Greenmill can get nice cheesecake, it is around $6.80 and huge. When i get it, yes, it is huge and good but when keep eating it, i start feel disgust maybe the taste is too strong, but luckily Verena here she help me ate 2/3 of the cheesecake.

This is the oldest projector i ever seen in my life, it is huge, heavy and look disgusting. At first, i thought it is some kind of telescope to view star or moon...but my guess is wrong.

We became smart, took bus to downtown at 9.05pm because nobody want to walk 10minute to downtown in the cold weather.

This week'll be our last crazy party together because next week is final exam week, and most of them are leaving st.cloud back their homecountry. Last time, we gathering the 'Halloween' gang to eat korean dishes. But this time, i and Amy the one cook for them, invited them to eat the lunch at 12.30pm. I responsible to cook curry, however it wasn't curry from Malaysia but from Thailand. I only able to get Thailand curry from cubfood. Whereas, Amy cooked fried rice with Kimchi and i found that actually the Kimchi wasn't that spicy at all and kind of like it.

At evening 6.30pm, we finish our dinner then walk about 15minute to scsu's ice hockey stadium to watch game. This time the game is a bit boring, doesn't seen as excited as the first game i watch. However, huskies team won 4-1.

During break period, there are some games for audience to participate. This one is one audience eyes is closed, then he or she have to find the big 'Sporty'...like hide and seek.

After the suffer of running back from stadium (due to super cold weather), we went to usual place to hanging out. This is what happen to Andy, the korean girls attacked him back.

This is the first time i seeing true snowing as St.Cloud haven't yet. On the way back, we have to drive carefully because snowing weather is much dangerous. It is hard to saying good-bye and feeling doesn't want to going back campuse because i hate those home works and classes. Anyway, Red Wing is a small town but i like it because it is peaceful like i'm back to my home and i enjoying the every moment in Red Wing.

Every year after the day thanksgiving night, it will have a special parade show in the town. We finishing dinner, and Ryan came to pick us out to the town. We walk around and because it is small town, Ryan meet his high school friends everywhere. Everyone coming out with the family members to enjoy the show. I used to remember, Malaysia have show the parade show on Tv, but it is stop broadcast it like 15years ago. This is my first time to seeing these event, even though it is not as good as like from big cities such as Chicago, but it is i am satisfied for that. The weather is Red wing is consider average for me, because st.cloud is much mroe colder than here.
Later night, David with his best friend, Ryan and another friend Tony to drinking in the house. Yes, i am pass out just two cup volka and sleep an hour. All i heard during my nap, they still talking....anyway, that is the end of my third day in Red Wing.

Today is Thanksgiving day, it is also my first time in my life celebrate thanksgiving day. According to Christian culture, Thanksgiving day is like our chinese new year reunion dinner where every family gathering together to enjoy the meal. After dinner done, they will take turn to say thank you message; that mean who you want to thank you to. For me, when David explain to me how this work...my head start pump out mum and dad. Because everytime x'mas and new year i am spend my holidays with them. I cried silently after i said i want to thank to David's auties for inviting me here, gave me the home feeling and thank to my parents, because i am missing them so much. Thanksgiving really a meaningful day, because it is consider for family.

i can't sleep well before we start the journey to Redwing,i woke up at 4.30am. Our journey start depart from campus at 6am. The first destination we need to go is Minneapolis airport, to drop Pascal , Maria and little Paula for their Chicago vacation. Saying good-bye to each other, then we ready to go next stop: Redwing. On the way 5minutes from airport, suddenly get a phone call from Pascal they forgot the passports and tickets in car. We not familiar the directions, and try asking people finally able to get back t airport. After pass them the passport, finally we really on the way to redwing.
Redwing is 2 hour from St.cloud car trip, the weather is much warmer than st.cloud. Even though it is just a small town but there is Wal-mart, target hypermarket. I met David's auties and all are them is nice, welcome me in a warm hug.

Singing national theme before the game start

Our university's male ice hockey theme is quiet famous in Minnesota. We are scsu's students, so it is free entrance. This is my first time watching ice-hockey team. The whole competition is aggressive, speed. The fans support spirit increasing the whole atmosphere. When our team 'Huskies' get a goal, a song will start playing and the fans will sing 'Sieve, you suck.." about 3 times, then 'sieve,sieve, sieve~~~'. The fans also scream 'Go, Huskies, Let's go'. Got two little kids sat behind Amy, keep screaming and knocking here chair and i can see Amy's face what she is trying to say. hehehe. Even though, it is quiet mean but we sing along actually.
Our team won 6-1. But during the way back to Atwood memorial center...it is so cold. We need to walk from Henley back stadium to Atwood around 15minute. gosh~~~

thanksgiving will coming soon. According to my German friends, in their culture they usually will bake some cookies. So, today they prepared the cookies ingredient and inviting us the Halloween gang to make cookies. Each of us choose the shape that we like, and then we decorate it. There are some chocolate, candy and coconut to decorate the cookies. Andreas told us that, when he young he usually bake the cookies, after decorated it, then he will exchange the cookies with other kids.
We did a lot of fun in today..and thank for the Germans..it was delicious cookies, and of cause the sweet memory spending with them.

Ya, there is several types of animals you can use your hand to touch them, but i wasn't interesting on it, just look and no hand touch. There got albino snake, the little monkey from 'FRIENDS", a turtle, and so on. What free food we got?pritzer and chips....that is.

I already been in St.Cloud for 3 month, but never have a chance going to Minneapolis cities. Most of my friends already visit MOA, the largest Mall in America. Today, i finally have the chance to experience it. Last few days ago, i 'm wasn't sleep well so i still very tired although i'm excited to go city.

The car ride from St.Cloud to Minneapolis need around 1.30hr. It was quite far though. We are very hungry, it took us almost 30minute to parked the car in parking lot. The MOA's parking lot was free, wasn't like in Malaysia. However, when we came down from the car..it was so cold. THe first destination we want to go so bad, was food court. I get myself this so called Japan food..sesame chicken, vegetables and fried rice. The name for this food stall was 'Little Tokyo', but when i heard the owner speaking each other was in Vietnamese language. The menu, only some are sound like Japan meal but the others totally like chinese dishes. Although, menu and name confusing..but it wasn't taste bad. I was very hungry at that moment.

This apple cost me almost $7 (including tax), but it was delicious and worthy. It took us quiet long time to figure out which favor we want. The variety of favor from peanut to M&M chocolate candy.When you buy it, they will ask whether you want to slice it or not. I can't finish it, because it was quite huge.

Think about it, is this clothing for baby?..then you are wrong if you think so. This actually are for puppy or dog wear.

First time see MOA, my impression about it was so-so. It is large? ya..it is. hmmm, maybe Malaysia we have too many this kind of Mall, so it was not really special for me. You can find many other brand's shop that can't find in Malaysia. We are just randomly walk around the Mall, when we saw something cheap or price reasonable shops, we stop by to see it is anything we can get from there. I admitted i spent a lot money today, but the thing i bought was needed for winter. I didn't take much picture...because i was tired actually and that was so many people inside the mall. One thing i doesn't like from the mall, the washroom. It was far and difficult to get it. Anyway, i will going to MOA again..one day~~

"Passport to the World' is a event held by school, for sharing the international culture with the local people here. We, MSA have take part in this event and we will having 24 drums performance in that day. The event will be held on 16th November, 4-6pm. Every week, we have to practice the drums three times. We have to learn the steps how the rhythm and hands move..when sometime you need to connect another rhythm, you might careless, finger hit on the stick..and that was very pain.

My BEST first Halloween

Halloween, actually got friend suggested me to wear like slutty nurse that kind of costume. I thinking want to , but my low confidence doesn't change my mind so i didn't get a costume. The costume was so expensive which about $60 per set. My friend said that, i should wear because i did have that physical figure to wear it...but i refuse. So, we just hanging around in my dorm..we having some card games before we went to downtown. During in Downtown was the most happy moment, you can see from teletubies, to mario...some people very creative in their Halloween costume.

I only get myself this Jason ice hockey mask, he the character from Friday 13th. (but not the wing behind my back, i just having fun wearing on it)

Went to Downtown one of the pub for having fun and drink something.It was very nice Halloween party, because this was my first time dance so hard!!yes, i did went to dance with the pole, but with my friend accompanying of cause.

After that, we went to a Chinese's friend apartment to third round partying. It was my first time drank 75.%Bicardi, the liquid totally can burn your throat when you drink it. Let me see, today i drink 5% Smirnoff, little bit of Bicardi 45%, two and half shot 45% liquid and one shoot 75% bicardi..my gosh!!yes, when in my dorm...i totally hardly to balance myself..but i still forcing myself to shower. I hardly to to stand inside bathtub, yes i was sitting on it. Finish clear myself it was already 5am......tomorrow how was my day, i doesn't know but i know i did having a lot of FUN with my friends, this is my most memorable first Halloween.Oh ya, at least i know don't drink too much..it was not fun when you are too tired.

first time of snowing in fall

Fall break, i so envy and jealous some of my friends went to vacation in Chicago, New York and so on. The holidays start at Thursday, and the four days what i doing in campuses? nothing..just staying in room and do some studying. Garvey, our main canteen was close for the break and it was frustrating that i ate sandwiches for two days and instant noodles for another two days.
I checked the weather report, today will be -1/-2 temperature and windy. In the early morning, i can heard the wind keep blowing...i look at the outside window, i see something flying around, it doesn't seen like rain..oh my god it was snow. But these snow wasn't heavy snow.I woke up and prepared going to library. Open the door, my face can feel the cold and the snow. But when on the way to the library, it was not fun because too windy and the snow was blow on to my face and it was hurt. Imagine you riding a motorcycle during heavy rain. The snow was just last about 2 hour. But it was a good experience for me first time seeing snowing!

Talking about Malaysia night, it did have frusfrating, mad during preparation. Maybe miscommunication in certain area, many of the times didnt follow with what plan, so the whole day was involving 'Wait'. I was so tired, because recently i keep rushing my homework and can't sleep well. Last night, i only sleep around 3 hours. Friday night, some student party. When i sleep for an hour, suddenly a drunk girl talking so loud outside my window and she ever screaming when her friend call her from other side. She was too drunk until cant remember where she staying...gosh...

I help holding bamboo stick, after several practising, my hand shivering. Holding bamboo stick to make the rhythm wasnt easy, because to avoid your hand get hit by the bamboo, you only used ur finger muscle to support it.

I made a set of baju kebaya in my hometown, finally i can wear on it. When on the way walking to the ballroom, the wind keep blowing, i have to walking careful because afraid my skirt fly up.

the show took about 40minute for guest seating. at first, the ballroom was so quiet and we afraid nobody came. Suprisingly, it almost full seat.

The show run smoothly. First the MC came out was following by performancer holding the malaysia state flag. And they were introduce on stage to the guest which state the flag they holding on. And then the first stage performance will be chinese dance, malays dance and bamboo dance. My hand keep sweating, and i tape some tissue near the bamboo. when our dance finish, they invite guest to try. After that, guest was announced to have their dinner which have prepared. i wasnt hungry at that time, but the dishes was smell good. Many of my friends, said it was delicious, some ever said it was very spicy.

Second part of the show was 24drums, Indian dance and fashion show. 24drums still was my favor show. During the fashion show, also the most exciting show. The whole fashion ran cool with the coold music background.

Finally, the show end. Everybody taking picture as memory.

This event finally finish. Althoug it is frusfrating in afternoon, but after done..everyone finally can relax and smile back, mission complish. I telling myself, tomorrow i have to spend my time for SLEEP.

The weather getting low..my cupboard, always wear the same hoodies. Today, my first time going rossroad mall. i want to get myself new hoodies...of cause have to check the price at other winter wear stuff ,too.

Hey, i found that their buses was special. You can put your bicycle infront this steel. If there is old people ride the bus, the bus can lower down near the door step, for convenient the old people. The buses usually are connect each other, let say if i ride 'University' bus from campuse. Going crossroad mall, i need to transit change to other bus, 'Waite park'. When 'University' bus arriving in terminal, you can see all the connected buses arriving at the same time.

But unlucky for me today, because 'Pantown' later arriving terminal, the bus to campuse already leaving. I have to walk The weather getting low..my cupboard, always wear the same hoodies.
